If you're building a street-driven Chevy 454 that runs on pump gas and doesn't use a turbo or supercharger, this balanced rotating assembly from Eagle is a solid option. It's designed to handle the demands of a naturally aspirated street application, giving you a strong foundation for your engine rebuild. This assembly includes all the key components you need to get your short block moving in the right direction.

At the heart of this assembly is a 4.000-inch cast crankshaft, paired with 6.135-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in performance applications. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from ICON, featuring a -3cc flat top design and a 4.320-inch bore size, which are common for many 454 builds. This assembly also comes with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap adjustment during installation, and King SI rod and main bearings to ensure smooth rotation and proper oil clearance.

This entire rotating assembly is balanced at the factory, which is a critical step for reducing engine vibration and improving overall smoothness and longevity.
