If you're building a street-driven Chevy 454 that needs to handle pump gas and run naturally aspirated, this balanced rotating assembly from Eagle is a solid foundation. It's designed to give you the strength and reliability you need for a performance street engine without requiring exotic fuel.

This assembly starts with a forged 4140 steel crankshaft, measuring 4.250 inches. Paired with that are 6.385-inch I-beam connecting rods made from 4340 steel, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. For the pistons, you get forged 4032 aluminum pistons from ICON, featuring a 23cc dome and a 4.350-inch bore size. The assembly also includes plasma-moly file-fit piston rings and King XP rod and main bearings, all balanced from the factory to ensure smooth operation and reduce vibration.
