This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly is built around a 4.000-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, a robust foundation for high-performance Chevy 454 engines. The choice of 4340 forged steel for the crank signifies its ability to handle significant stress, making it suitable for demanding applications like racing, including those using nitrous or forced induction.

Complementing the crankshaft are 6.135-inch H-beam connecting rods, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. H-beam rods are well-known for their strength-to-weight ratio, offering excellent durability under high RPM and load conditions. The assembly includes forged 4032 ICON pistons, featuring an 18.3cc closed chamber dome design and a 4.310-inch bore size. These pistons are paired with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to optimize performance and sealing. King XP rod and main bearings are also included, providing reliable lubrication and wear protection for critical rotating components.
