Starting with a forged 4340 steel crankshaft featuring a 4.000-inch stroke, this Eagle rotating assembly is built for serious performance. It's designed to handle the demands of racing, including applications using nitrous oxide or forced induction. The robust construction means it's ready for builds that push the limits of a Chevy 454 engine.

Complementing the strong crankshaft are 6.135-inch H-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their reliability under high stress. The assembly includes forged 4032 aluminum pistons from ICON, measuring 4.320 inches in bore diameter. These pistons have an 18.3cc closed chamber dome, which is a specific design choice that affects compression ratio and combustion characteristics. The included plasma-moly file-fit piston rings allow for precise gap setting to match your specific engine build and tuning needs. For the bottom end, King XP series rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent durability and performance.
