Starting with a forged 4340 crankshaft featuring a 4.000-inch stroke is key to building a serious big-block Chevy. This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly is designed for demanding applications, including those using nitrous or forced induction, where strength and reliability are paramount. The 6.135-inch H-beam connecting rods are forged from 4340 steel and come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, ensuring they can handle significant cylinder pressures and high RPMs without flexing.

The assembly includes ICON forged 2618 aluminum pistons with a 38cc dome volume, designed to achieve a specific compression ratio when paired with the correct cylinder heads and crankshaft stroke. These pistons are paired with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to optimize sealing and performance. To ensure smooth operation and durability, the kit also includes King XP rod and main bearings, known for their robust construction and ability to handle heavy loads.
