It's a balanced assembly, meaning the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, and rings are all balanced together at the factory to reduce vibration and improve engine smoothness right out of the box.

At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 4.000-inch stroke, paired with 6.135-inch long I-beam connecting rods. These rods are made from durable 4340 steel and come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability under high stress. The pistons are forged 2618 aluminum from ICON, featuring a 43cc dome and a 4.280-inch bore size, designed to work with the 4.000-inch stroke to achieve a specific compression ratio for naturally aspirated performance. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, giving you the flexibility to set your ring gap precisely for your build.

This assembly also includes King XP rod and main bearings, which are well-regarded for their performance and durability. Everything is balanced as a complete unit, saving you a significant step in the engine building process and ensuring a well-matched rotating assembly.
