Eagle is a well-known name for building solid performance engine components, and this balanced rotating assembly for the Chevy 454 is a prime example of their work. At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4340 crankshaft with a 4.000-inch stroke, paired with 6.135-inch I-beam connecting rods made from the same strong 4340 material. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a popular choice for their reliability under stress. The pistons are forged 2618 aluminum from ICON, featuring a 43cc dome and a 4.320-inch bore size, designed to work with the included plasma-moly file-fit rings. To ensure proper clearances and performance right out of the box, this assembly comes balanced and includes King XP rod and main bearings.
