If you're building a street-driven Chevy 454 that runs on pump gas and doesn't use forced induction or nitrous, this balanced rotating assembly from Eagle is a solid foundation. It includes a forged 4140 steel crankshaft, strong I-beam connecting rods, and custom pistons, all balanced and ready to go into your engine block. This assembly is designed to handle the demands of a naturally aspirated street application.

The heart of this assembly is the 4.250-inch stroke forged 4140 steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and reliability in performance street engines. Paired with it are 6.385-inch I-beam connecting rods made from robust 4340 steel, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts for extra peace of mind under load. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from ICON, featuring a 23cc dome and a 4.320-inch bore size, which works well with the included plasma-moly file-fit piston rings. King XP rod and main bearings are also included, ensuring smooth operation and proper oil clearance for the crankshaft and connecting rods.

This assembly comes balanced from Eagle, saving you a significant step and cost in your engine build.
