This is a balanced rotating assembly from Eagle, specifically built for Chevy 454 engines. It includes a forged 4140 steel crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, 4340 steel I-beam connecting rods that are 6.385 inches long and use 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, and 4.350-inch Icon forged 4032 pistons with a 23cc dome volume. This assembly is designed for street applications running on pump gas and is naturally aspirated.

The components in this assembly are chosen for their strength and reliability. The 4140 forged steel crank and 4340 forged steel I-beam rods are well-built for the demands of a street-driven performance engine. The Icon pistons are made from 4032 aluminum, which offers a good balance of strength and lighter weight, and they come with plasma-moly file-fit rings.
