If you're building a high-performance Chevy 454 engine for serious racing, a strong rotating assembly is the heart of the operation. This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly is designed to handle the demands of competition, whether you're running naturally aspirated, nitrous, or forced induction setups.

This assembly starts with a 4.250-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, providing a solid foundation for increased displacement and power. Paired with it are 6.385-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their strength and reliability under stress. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a popular choice for their durability and consistent clamping force, which is crucial for maintaining proper bearing clearances during high-RPM operation. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from Mahle, featuring an 18cc dome to achieve a specific compression ratio, and they come with plasma-moly file-fit rings for good sealing. To complete the package, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent wear resistance and performance in demanding conditions.
