If you're building a high-performance Chevy 454 engine for serious racing, a balanced rotating assembly is the foundation you need. This Eagle Competition Rotating Assembly is designed to handle the demands of competition, whether you're running naturally aspirated, nitrous, or forced induction setups. It includes all the critical components to get your engine's bottom end built right, ensuring smooth operation and durability under stress.

At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4340 crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, paired with strong 6.385-inch H-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their reliability in high-stress applications. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from ICON, featuring a 23cc dome and a 4.280-inch bore size, designed to work with the crank and rods for optimal compression and performance. This assembly also comes with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings and King XP rod and main bearings, providing excellent wear resistance and smooth operation.

This rotating assembly is balanced from the factory, which is a crucial step for any performance engine build. Balancing reduces vibration, leading to a smoother running engine, less stress on bearings and seals, and ultimately, a more durable powerplant.
