What you get in this balanced assembly is a complete rotating assembly ready to be installed into your Chevy 454 engine. This kit includes a forged 4340 crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, H-beam connecting rods that are 6.385 inches long and come with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, and Mahle forged pistons. The pistons are a flat-top design with a -3cc dish, measuring 4.350 inches in diameter. It also comes with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings and King XP rod and main bearings.

This assembly is balanced, which means the components have been precisely weighted to ensure smooth operation and reduce vibration in your engine. The forged 4340 crank and H-beam rods are strong choices for high-performance applications, including those using nitrous or forced induction, as they can handle increased stress. The Mahle pistons are made from 4032 aluminum, known for its good thermal expansion properties, and the included file-fit rings allow for precise gapping to match your engine's bore and intended use. The King XP bearings are designed for demanding conditions, offering robust protection for the crankshaft and connecting rods.
