Starting with a 4.250-inch forged 4140 crankshaft, this balanced rotating assembly from Eagle is built for serious performance in your Chevy 454. It's designed for naturally-aspirated racing applications where every component needs to work together flawlessly. The crankshaft's generous stroke is paired with robust 6.385-inch I-beam connecting rods, forged from strong 4340 steel and secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. This combination is key for handling the stresses of high-RPM operation.

The assembly includes forged 2618 Mahle pistons, featuring a 43cc dome and a 4.320-inch bore size, which are crucial for achieving your desired compression ratio. These pistons come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to optimize sealing and performance. To ensure smooth operation right out of the box, the entire assembly is professionally balanced. King XP rod and main bearings are also included, offering reliable lubrication and reduced friction for longevity under demanding conditions.
