When you're building a serious performance engine, starting with a well-balanced rotating assembly is key. This Eagle Pro Street assembly gives you the core components for a Chevy 454, ready to be installed into your build. It includes a forged 4140 crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, paired with 6.385-inch 4340 I-beam connecting rods. These rods come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in high-performance applications.

The pistons included are forged 2618 Mahle units, featuring a 43cc dome and a 4.350-inch bore size, designed to work with the included plasma-moly file-fit piston rings. To ensure proper lubrication and bearing protection right out of the box, this assembly comes with King XP rod and main bearings. Everything is balanced as a complete unit, which is a critical step for reducing engine vibration and ensuring longevity, especially in naturally-aspirated racing applications.
