This assembly is specifically designed for Chevy 454 tall deck engines and is ready to handle the demands of racing, including nitrous and forced induction applications. It’s a complete package that takes the guesswork out of building a strong foundation for your high-performance engine.

At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4340 crankshaft with a 4.500-inch stroke, paired with 6.660-inch H-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability under high stress. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from Mahle, featuring a -3cc flat top design and a 4.350-inch bore size. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, which allow for precise gap setting to optimize performance and sealing. To ensure smooth operation and durability, the assembly includes King XP rod and main bearings.
