Eagle is well-known for building robust engine components, and this competition rotating assembly is a prime example of their commitment to performance. If you're building a high-horsepower Chevy 502 big block for serious racing, this assembly is designed to handle the demands of the track, including applications using nitrous oxide or forced induction like turbochargers and superchargers.

This assembly starts with a 4.000-inch stroke forged 4340 steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and durability under extreme loads. Connecting the crank to the pistons are 6.535-inch H-beam connecting rods, also forged from 4340 steel, and they come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts for a secure and reliable connection. The pistons are forged 2618 SRP units with a 41cc dome and a 4.530-inch bore, designed to work with the crank and rods to achieve the desired compression ratio for performance applications. This kit also includes plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, which allow for precise gap setting to optimize sealing and performance, and King XP rod and main bearings to ensure smooth rotation and proper oil clearance.
