This is the Eagle Chevy 502 balanced rotating assembly, a complete package designed to be the heart of a high-performance engine build. It's specifically intended for the Chevy 502 platform, offering a robust foundation for demanding applications like racing, including those using nitrous or forced induction. This assembly includes all the critical rotating components, precision balanced and ready for installation, saving you significant time and ensuring proper engine dynamics from the start.

At the core of this assembly is a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 4.250-inch stroke, providing the foundation for increased displacement and torque. Paired with this are 6.385-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their strength and reliability under stress, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from SRP, featuring a 36cc dome to achieve a specific compression ratio and a 4.530-inch bore size. They come complete with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to match your engine's needs. To ensure smooth operation and durability, the assembly includes King XP rod and main bearings, which offer excellent load-carrying capacity.

Because this assembly is balanced from the factory, it simplifies the engine building process considerably. This means the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, rings, bearings, and harmonic balancer (if included in the balance) have been precisely weighted and matched.
