This is a balanced rotating assembly from Eagle, specifically designed for Chevy 502 applications. It's built to handle the most demanding engine builds, including those using exotic fuels, heavy nitrous, or high boost. At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 4.500-inch stroke and center counterweighting, which helps balance the rotating mass for smoother operation and reduced stress on the engine. Paired with this are 6.535-inch H-beam connecting rods, known for their strength and reliability under high loads. These rods use 7/16-inch ARP L19 bolts, a strong choice for high-performance applications. The pistons are forged 2618 JE units with a -28cc inverted dome, designed for forced induction setups and measuring 4.600 inches in diameter. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to match your specific build and maximize sealing. The assembly also includes King XP rod and main bearings, which offer robust performance for high-stress environments.
