At the core of this assembly is a 3.750-inch cast crankshaft, paired with 6.000-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in performance applications. The pistons are forged 4032 Mahle units with an inverted dome design, measuring 4.040 inches in bore size and featuring a -16cc dish. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, giving you the flexibility to set your ring gap precisely for optimal performance and sealing. King SI rod and main bearings are included to ensure smooth operation and proper clearances for the crankshaft and rods.

This assembly also comes complete with a 168-tooth flexplate, which is the standard for many GM automatic transmissions.
