Starting with a 4.250-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, this Eagle rotating assembly is built for serious performance in Chevy tall deck 502 applications. The crankshaft is paired with 6.800-inch H-beam connecting rods, which are a strong choice for handling the stresses of racing, especially when paired with the included 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. These rods are designed to work seamlessly with the 4.500-inch SRP pistons, which feature a 36cc dome volume. This specific dome volume is important for achieving a desired compression ratio when combined with your cylinder heads and block configuration.

The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its strength and ability to withstand high temperatures and pressures common in racing. They come with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings, allowing for precise gap setting to optimize sealing and performance. To ensure smooth operation and durability, the assembly includes King XP rod and main bearings. These bearings are well-regarded for their ability to handle heavy loads and maintain oil film integrity under demanding conditions.
