If you're building a high-performance Chrysler 340 engine for racing, especially with nitrous or forced induction, a strong rotating assembly is the heart of the operation. Inside this kit, you'll find a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 3.310-inch stroke, built for durability. The 6.123-inch H-beam connecting rods are also forged from 4340 steel and come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability in high-stress applications. For the pistons, Eagle has included forged 4032 aluminum flat-top pistons from Mahle, measuring 4.070 inches with a -5cc dish, designed to work with the included plasma-moly file-fit rings. To ensure smooth operation and proper lubrication, the kit also contains King XP rod and main bearings.
