The heart of this assembly is the forged 4340 steel crankshaft, chosen for its strength and durability under high loads. Paired with the H-beam connecting rods, which are also built for strength, and secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, this setup is well-suited for engines that will be pushed hard. The Mahle pistons are forged from 4032 aluminum, known for its good thermal expansion properties, and feature a flat-top design with a -5cc dish, which helps achieve a specific compression ratio when combined with the rest of the engine's components. The assembly also comes with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings and King XP rod and main bearings, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.
