Eagle Chrysler 360 Forged Crankshaft

Eagle is well-known for making strong rotating assembly components for performance engines. This Chrysler 360 crankshaft is built using a non-twist forging process from 4340 steel, which is a popular choice for high-performance builds because of its excellent strength and durability. This means it can handle the stresses of a demanding engine build without flexing or breaking.

The crankshaft features .125" fillet radii, which are chamfered or narrowed to accept specific bearing types. This design detail adds significant strength to the crankshaft. For added durability and wear resistance, the surface is nitrided and then micropolished. Nitriding hardens the outer layer of the steel, while micropolishing creates an exceptionally smooth surface finish. This combination helps reduce friction and wear, extending the life of the crankshaft and the engine's main bearings.

This crankshaft has a 4.000" stroke, making it suitable for builds where increased displacement is desired.
