Eagle is a well-known name for building solid engine components, and this rotating assembly is designed for Ford 289 and 302 engines. If you're putting together a naturally-aspirated racing engine, this assembly is a strong starting point. It includes all the core pieces you need to get your short block built, saving you time sourcing individual parts.

This assembly starts with a 3.400-inch stroke forged 4340 crankshaft, which is a strong foundation for performance builds. Paired with it are 5.400-inch long I-beam connecting rods made from 4340 steel, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum from SRP, featuring an inverted dome design with a -12.5cc volume and a 4.000-inch bore size. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, meaning you can gap them precisely to your engine's needs for optimal sealing. To round out the assembly, King XP series rod and main bearings are included, known for their durability in high-performance applications.
