This Eagle Street & Strip rotating assembly is built around a 3.400-inch cast crankshaft, a solid foundation for your Ford 289 or 302 engine rebuild. The assembly includes 5.400-inch I-beam connecting rods, known for their strength and reliability in performance street applications. These rods are secured with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a popular choice for their durability and consistent clamping force, ensuring the rods stay firmly connected under load. Paired with these are hypereutectic KB pistons, featuring an inverted dome design with a -16cc volume and a 4.040-inch bore size. These pistons are fitted with plasma-moly file-fit rings, allowing for precise gap setting to optimize sealing and performance.
