If you're building a Ford 302 for naturally-aspirated racing, a balanced rotating assembly like this one from Eagle is a solid foundation. This assembly includes all the key components you need to get your engine's bottom end rebuilt and ready for serious use. This assembly starts with a forged 4340 crankshaft featuring a 3.000-inch stroke, paired with 5.090-inch I-beam connecting rods. These rods are secured with 3/8-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability under high stress. The pistons are forged 4032 Mahle units with a -5cc flat top design, intended for a 4.040-inch bore. They come with plasma-moly file-fit rings, giving you the flexibility to set your ring gap precisely for your build. To complete the rotating assembly, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent wear resistance and performance.

This entire assembly is balanced at the factory, which is a crucial step for reducing engine vibration and improving overall smoothness and longevity, especially at higher RPMs. Keep in mind that this assembly is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It's also subject to California's Prop 65 warning.
