If you're building a high-performance Ford 302 engine for racing, especially one that will see nitrous or forced induction, a balanced rotating assembly like this one from Eagle is a solid foundation. This assembly includes all the key rotating components, pre-balanced and ready to go, saving you significant machine shop time and ensuring your engine's internals are properly matched from the start.

At the heart of this assembly is a 3.250-inch forged 4340 crankshaft, known for its strength and durability under extreme stress. Paired with it are 5.400-inch H-beam connecting rods, which offer a strong yet relatively lightweight design suitable for demanding applications. These rods are secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a popular choice for their reliability and clamping force. The pistons are forged 4032 aluminum flat-tops with a -11cc dish, designed for a 4.000-inch bore, and come with plasma-moly file-fit rings. This piston and ring combination is designed for excellent sealing and performance. To complete the package, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering robust wear resistance and proper oil clearance for a healthy engine.
