If you're building a high-performance Ford 351W engine for racing, especially with nitrous or forced induction, a strong rotating assembly is the heart of the operation. At the core of this assembly is a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 4.170-inch stroke and 2.750-inch main journals, offering a solid foundation for high horsepower. The 6.250-inch H-beam connecting rods are paired with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, known for their strength and reliability under extreme loads. Forged 4032 Mahle pistons with a -6.6cc flat top design and 4.030-inch bore size are included, along with plasma-moly file-fit rings for a good seal. To complete the package, King XP rod and main bearings are supplied, providing durable lubrication surfaces for the crankshaft and connecting rods.
