If you're building a naturally-aspirated Ford 351W for racing, a balanced rotating assembly like this one from Eagle is a solid foundation. At the heart of this assembly is a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with a 4.170-inch stroke and 2.750-inch main journals, chosen for its strength and reliability. Paired with it are 6.250-inch long 4340 I-beam connecting rods, secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, which are well-known for their holding power. The pistons are forged 4032 Mahle units with an inverted dome design, featuring -16cc volume, and come with plasma-moly file-fit rings. To complete the package, King XP rod and main bearings are included, offering excellent wear resistance and performance.
