At the heart of this assembly is a 4.170-inch forged 4340 steel crankshaft, known for its strength and durability under demanding conditions. Paired with it are 6.250-inch I-beam connecting rods, also made from robust 4340 steel, and secured with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts. These ARP bolts are a popular choice for their reliability in high-stress applications. The assembly includes 4.040-inch forged 4032 aluminum pistons from Mahle, featuring an inverted dome design with a -16cc dish, and come with plasma-moly file-fit piston rings. King XP rod and main bearings are also included, providing smooth operation and wear resistance for the crankshaft journals.
