The crankshaft's robust construction is matched by the 6.700-inch I-beam connecting rods, also forged from 4340 steel. These rods come equipped with 7/16-inch ARP 8740 bolts, a detail that speaks to the attention paid to ensuring strength and reliability under demanding conditions.

The assembly includes forged 4032 Mahle pistons, specifically designed with a -8cc flat top dish to work with Boss 9 heads, and a 4.390-inch bore size.
