EBC 06-09 Ford Fusion 2.3 GD Sport Rear Rotors

These EBC 3GD Series Sport Slotted Rotors are built from OE spec grey cast iron, the same material used on new cars right off the assembly line. The wide slots cut into the rotor surface are designed to help dissipate heat and clear out dust and debris from the braking zone, which can help reduce brake fade, especially when you're carrying a load or driving at higher speeds. EBC manufactures many of their rotors in their own UK foundry, ensuring a high level of control over the casting process. For rotors they do source from approved outside suppliers, they're still put through rigorous testing for material composition, tensile strength, hardness, and ductility, and each rotor is checked for runout to ensure it's perfectly flat. The rotors are anodized for protection; they come in black for domestic applications and gold for imports, adding a nice visual touch while also helping to prevent corrosion.
