You're looking at a set of EBC Ultimax RK Series front brake rotors for your 2016-2020 Volvo XC60 with the 2.0L Turbo T5 engine. These are designed to be a direct replacement for your stock vented rotors, giving you improved performance without the usual noise associated with slotted designs.
The unique, progressively angled slots on these EBC rotors do a couple of important things. First, they help pull in cooler air to keep your braking system from overheating, especially during harder stops. Second, the slots actively clear away brake dust and road debris. This keeps your brake pads making solid contact with the rotor surface, which not only helps maintain maximum grip but also can extend the life of your brake pads.
