These EBC GD Sport slotted rotors are made from OE spec grey cast iron, the same material used on new vehicles straight from the factory. The wide slots cut into the rotor surface are designed to help clear out dirt, dust, and debris from the braking zone, which in turn helps the brakes run cooler, especially under load or at higher speeds.
