EBC S9 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit

When you want the stopping power of EBC's Yellowstuff compound without the wind noise that drilled rotors can sometimes produce, the S9 kit is worth a look. This front brake kit for the 2013-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty (part# S9KF1265) pairs GG-rated Yellowstuff high-friction pads with USR fine-slotted sport rotors for a setup that works well on the street and on the occasional track day.

The advantage of the S9 over the S5 kit is the rotor design. Where the GD rotors in the S5 use drilled holes and wide slots, the USR rotors rely on fine slots only. This eliminates the potential for stress cracking around drill holes while still providing a channel to sweep away dust, gas, and debris from the pad surface. The result is reduced wind noise at highway speeds compared to drilled rotors, with the same consistent pad contact.

Yellowstuff pads are EBC's most aggressive street compound, fully shimmed and chamfered with the patented Brake-in coating. The USR rotors are 363mm vented discs with an 8-bolt pattern, 115.73mm height, and 38mm thickness, all G3000 cast iron with Geomet anti-rust coating. This is a front-axle kit only. No warranty in race use, though EBC does cover street driving.
