EBC S9 Brake Pad and Rotor Kit

This EBC S9 kit gives you everything you need for the rear brakes on your 2020-2023 Ford Explorer. You get a pair of EBC USR fine slotted sport rotors and a set of EBC Yellowstuff high-friction brake pads. The rotors are made from unique rotor alloys and feature a slot pattern designed to dispel gases and debris, which helps keep the pads clean and improves braking performance, especially during spirited driving or track use. They also come with a Thermic black coating to resist corrosion.

The Yellowstuff pads are a specially formulated softer compound. This means they offer a longer lifespan compared to some other high-performance pads, and they provide an improved pedal feel, particularly at lower speeds. This combination is often referred to as a 'Super Fast Street and Track Kit' because it offers a notable upgrade over stock for both daily driving and occasional track days. The rotors are precision machined and inspected for runout, ensuring they spin true on your Explorer.

This kit is designed as a direct fit, meaning no modifications are needed over your stock rear brake components. The rotors are solid, have 5 bolt holes, and measure 320mm in diameter with a 12mm thickness. The FMSI pad number for this rear kit is 2232. While this kit is built for performance, please note that EBC does not offer a warranty for parts used in race applications.
