Edelbrock built their Classic Series air cleaners to match their well-known finned aluminum valve covers, and the 41179 carries that same vintage look in a 14-inch round assembly with a satin cast aluminum finish. If you are building a nostalgia rod or dressing up a muscle car engine bay, this air cleaner ties the top of the engine together with a period-correct finned appearance that complements Edelbrock valve covers and intake manifolds.

The assembly stands 3.9 inches tall with a 14-inch diameter, sized for single four-barrel carburetor setups. It fits all carburetors and throttle bodies with the standard 5-1/8-inch neck, which covers the vast majority of popular four-barrel carbs. The included filter element is a medical-grade, pre-oiled cotton gauze design that provides strong filtration while flowing well enough for performance applications. The satin as-cast finish has a natural aluminum look that does not need to be polished and matches the Vintage Edelbrock Logo stamped into the lid.
