This pump features larger 3/8" NPT inlet and outlet ports compared to standard pumps, allowing for better fuel flow. It's rated to produce 10 psi, but it's important to know that you'll need to pair it with an external fuel pressure regulator, like Edelbrock's #8190 or #1727, to manage that pressure effectively. The lower housing is also clockable, meaning you can rotate it in 60-degree increments to get the best alignment for your fuel lines, which can make installation a bit easier in tight engine bays. This pump is specifically for gasoline and is a well-built option for many Chevrolet vehicles from the 1960s through the 1980s.
