Edelbrock kept the intake and exhaust port flanges in their factory locations, so they'll line up with your OEM components. They've also tipped the intake and exhaust valves away from the bore wall to unshroud them, even with the larger valve sizes, while keeping the factory geometry. The seat diameters are larger than stock, which helps with heat transfer and overall durability.
