Edelbrock has been a name in performance parts for a long time, known for making well-built components that help engines run better. This Performer RPM cylinder head is a prime example, offering a significant bolt-on upgrade for your Gen III HEMI 5.7L engine from 2003-2008.

What makes these heads stand out is the attention to airflow. They feature fully CNC machined combustion chambers, bowls, and port entries/exits. This means the air and fuel mixture can move more freely into and out of the cylinders, which is key for making more power. Edelbrock also added more material in the deck and reinforced the combustion chambers, giving you more strength to handle increased cylinder pressures. The rocker bosses are beefed up for better stability, and there's extra material around the intake and exhaust ports if you ever want to do some custom porting for racing. Importantly, the intake and exhaust port flanges stay in their factory locations, so you can use your stock intake and exhaust manifolds, as well as other stock accessories like valve covers and rockers. The larger valves are unshrouded to improve flow without messing with factory geometry, and the increased seat diameters help with heat transfer and durability.

These heads are cast from A356 aluminum and heat-treated to T6 specs, then machined and assembled right at Edelbrock's facility in California, ensuring a high level of quality control. They can be used on either the driver or passenger side of the block. For the ultimate performance setup, Edelbrock suggests matching these heads with their Victor EFI #7179 intake manifold.
