Edelbrock Cylinder Head Chrysler Victor Max Wedge for B/Rb Big Chrysler Engines Single Bare Casting

If you're building a serious competition engine for your big-block Chrysler, you're probably looking at the Victor Max Wedge cylinder head from Edelbrock. This head is designed for all-out racing and is used by many top racers. It's engineered to work with OE valve train and pistons, offering a convenient bolt-on upgrade for your B or RB series engine. This head is a popular choice for engines like the 383, 400, 413, 426, and 440 cubic inch displacements found in a wide range of vehicles from the 1960s and 70s, including models like the Dodge Charger, Chrysler New Yorker, and Plymouth Barracuda.

Edelbrock has raised the intake ports by .650 inches and the exhaust ports by .250 inches to improve flow. The intake flange is also extended by .950 inches, which means you won't need intake spacer plates. This head is designed to work with Edelbrock Victor manifolds for both high and low deck engines. The exhaust flange is extended .300 inches from stock, similar to the Mopar Stage 6, and features dry exhaust bolt holes with Heli-Coil thread inserts for durability. The intake ports are machined to match intake manifolds specifically for B and RB competition big-block Chryslers. This bare casting comes with valves, but you'll need to select springs and retainers that match your camshaft specifications.

This cylinder head features a 72cc combustion chamber volume and is sold as a bare casting with valves only. You will need to source your own valve springs, retainers, and other valvetrain components to complete the assembly. It's important to note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
