These heads come fully assembled in pairs, ready to bolt on right out of the box. They include premium COMP Cams valve train components, such as Beehive valve springs that support up to .570” lift camshafts, chromoly steel retainers, and heavy-duty stainless steel and Inconel valves. Edelbrock technicians meticulously inspect and assemble these parts, ensuring precision. The intake valves measure 2.165” and the exhaust valves are 1.590”. The heads themselves are cast from a premium aluminum alloy and machined to very tight tolerances, with a focus on valve seat concentricity for a secure seal and increased cylinder pressure. Edelbrock's patented Clean Cast Technology™ is also used, which smooths internal surfaces for better air and coolant flow, leading to more power and improved cooling. A unique dual spark-plug-pocket design offers flexibility, allowing you to use either factory-style tapered-seat or gasket-seat spark plugs for wider heat range tuning.
