With this Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake manifold, you get the main intake manifold unit itself, finished in a durable black powder coat. This manifold is built for Big-Block Chevy engines ranging from 396 to 502 cubic inches, specifically those with large oval-port cylinder heads. It's designed to work with either factory oval-port heads from 1975 and earlier, or with Edelbrock's own Performer and Performer RPM heads.

This intake manifold uses Edelbrock's race-proven Air-Gap design, which creates an open air space separating the intake runners from the hot engine oil. This separation helps keep the incoming air charge cooler and denser, which translates directly into more power for your engine. It includes provisions for rear water outlets, dual distributor clamp locations, and bosses for nitrous systems. For street use, it accepts late-model alternator and A/C brackets, and it's set up for square bore carburetors only. Keep in mind that it will not fit under the stock hood of certain Corvettes, Chevelles, or Camaros, and it doesn't have provisions for exhaust-heated chokes or exhaust crossovers.
