This is the Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold, designed for 1955 through 1986 Small-Block Chevrolet engines displacing 262 to 400 cubic inches. It's built to give you a noticeable boost in low-end torque and improved throttle response, making your engine feel more lively from off-idle all the way up to about 5500 rpm. This manifold is a popular choice for street-driven vehicles where that extra pull is appreciated.

Edelbrock uses a patented dual-plane, low-rise design with a 180-degree firing order. This setup is specifically tuned to deliver peak torque around 3500 rpm on a 350 cubic-inch engine, and dyno tests show it can add around 5 horsepower and 9 ft-lbs of torque compared to older Performer manifolds. The runner design is optimized for use with square-bore carburetors like Edelbrock's own Performer or Thunder Series AVS models, ensuring good compatibility.
