When you're rebuilding the top end of your Oldsmobile, you get a set of intake manifold gaskets in this kit. These are specifically made to work with Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads on 1965 through 1976 Oldsmobile 400, 425, and 455 cubic inch V8 engines.
Any gasket can seal, but these are built to do it better and for longer. They use Edelbrock's MP-2N Micropore technology, a synthetic fiber composite that doesn't rely on solvents and conforms well to sealing surfaces, even with lower clamping forces. This means you get a solid seal that holds up over time. Plus, there's a nitrile bead around each port opening to further improve the seal, helping to keep everything where it belongs.
