When you're looking to get more out of your big-block Chrysler engine, this Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam and Lifters Kit is a solid choice. This kit includes the Performer RPM camshaft and a set of hydraulic flat tappet lifters, ready to be installed in your 1968 and later Chrysler 383, 400, or 440 V8. Edelbrock designed this kit to work well in high-performance street applications, giving you a noticeable power increase across a broad RPM range, from about 1500 all the way up to 6500 rpm.

The camshaft itself features a duration of 238 degrees on the intake and 246 degrees on the exhaust at .050 lift, with valve lift measuring .480 inches for the intake and .495 inches for the exhaust. This means it has more lift and duration than many typical street cams, contributing to its ability to make power at higher RPMs. Edelbrock dyno-matched this cam to their Performer RPM manifolds, aiming for strong high-rpm horsepower while still keeping decent low-end torque. You can expect around 10 to 12 inches of manifold vacuum at idle with this setup, which is a good indicator of its streetability.

In testing with a 440 engine, using Edelbrock's #7193 intake manifold and #60929 cylinder heads, this cam kit helped produce 469 horsepower and 515 ft-lbs of torque.
