With a lift of .560 inches on the intake and .573 inches on the exhaust, this Edelbrock Performer RPM camshaft kit is built for serious performance in your big-block Chevy 396, 427, or 454 V8. This kit is designed to work best in high-performance street applications, providing a strong powerband from 1500 all the way up to 6500 rpm. It’s dyno-matched to Edelbrock’s Performer RPM manifolds, meaning the intake and camshaft work together to give you that high-rpm horsepower you’re looking for, while still keeping decent low-end torque. You can expect around 10 to 12 inches of manifold vacuum at idle with this setup.

This kit includes hydraulic flat tappet lifters, taking the guesswork out of matching components. When paired with Edelbrock's #7163 intake and #60559 cylinder heads on a 454 engine, this cam kit has shown results of 540 horsepower and 530 ft-lbs of torque in dyno testing. The camshaft itself features 240 degrees of intake duration and 246 degrees of exhaust duration at .050 lift, with a 112-degree lobe separation angle.
