This Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold is built with a patented dual-plane, low-rise design. This design uses a 180-degree firing order to significantly improve torque across a wide rpm range, giving you better throttle response from when you first start moving all the way up to 5500rpm. It’s specifically made for street-performance 260-302 cubic inch Ford Windsor V8 engines that do not use EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation).
This manifold is a solid option for a variety of Ford vehicles, including classic Broncos, F-Series trucks, and Fairlanes from the 1960s and 70s. It accepts 4150-style square-bore carburetors, making it a straightforward upgrade for many builds. While it won't fit Boss 302 or 255 c.i.d. V8s, it's a well-built component designed to enhance the performance of many common Ford V8 applications.
