Edelbrock Torker II Manifold

If you're building a high-performance street machine with a small-block Chevy engine from 1955-1986 and you're worried about hood clearance, this Edelbrock Torker II intake manifold is a solid option. It's a single-plane, low-rise design that helps you get the power you need without sacrificing precious inches under the hood. This manifold is built for 262 to 400 cubic inch engines and is designed to work with a wide range of vehicles, including many classic Chevrolets, Buicks, and even some Avanti models.

The Torker II features an exhaust crossover, which is a nice touch for helping your engine warm up more quickly in colder weather. However, it doesn't have provisions for exhaust-heated chokes or EGR systems, so you'll need to plan on using an electric or manual choke carburetor. It's made to accept late-model water necks, air conditioning, alternators, and HEI distributors, making it adaptable to many setups. Just be aware that while it fits many stock heads, including Corvette and '87-later stock heads, it won't fit '87-later cast iron heads or cover the port openings on Chevrolet Bowtie or LT1 heads.
