Product Details

This set of black sway bar bushings from Energy Suspension is made from their Hyper-Flex™ polyurethane, a material that's known to last much longer than the original rubber bushings. The kit includes two sway bar bushings and eight end link bushings, along with four sleeves, designed for a 5/8 inch diameter sway bar. By replacing worn-out rubber with this well-built polyurethane, you allow your vehicle's sway bar system to work at its full potential, which can make a notable difference in how the vehicle handles during turns. This kit fits a wide range of Ford E-Series vans and F-Series trucks from the 1960s through the early 1990s, including popular models like the Ford F-150 and E-150 Econoline.

When your original sway bar bushings start to break down, they can't effectively connect the sway bar to the chassis. This means the sway bar can't do its job of reducing body roll as well as it should. Upgrading to these polyurethane bushings helps restore that connection, making your sway bar system much more effective. This often translates to a more stable and controlled feel when cornering, especially on older vehicles where the original rubber may have degraded significantly over time. The installation is generally straightforward, often involving unbolting the old bushings and bolting these new ones in place, making it a popular and efficient upgrade.
